Philosophy and Vision
The philosophy of Grace United Methodist Church Preschool centers on the integration of Christian faith and life.
It embraces and encourages such values as respect, wonder, thankfulness, and concern for others. The teachers
are committed to providing and environment that nurtures the whole child (body, mind, and spirit) to be all he or
she can be by the grace of God. This environment will help to prepare the child for many varied school adventures
and for living in today’s world.
The vision of Grace United Methodist Church Preschool, together with the home and church, seeks to equip and nurture our children for a life
of joyful Christian service based on God’s word. We strive to create an environment in which each person can discover and celebrate his or
her uniqueness and appreciate the Christian perspective of life, and to critically weigh the issues of the day. Recognizing our God-given
responsibility, it is our purpose to train our children to serve God and neighbor and to educate them to be faithful stewards of God’s word.
