Grace United Methodist Church provides an excellent variety of children,
youth, and family ministries designed to meet today’s busy families.
Family Nights, Bible Studies, Sunday School, Children Pageants, Vacation
Bible School, Youth Group meetings, Mission Projects, and special events
are just to name a few.
It
is our goal to reach out to the community and our members as our
children’s ministry programs continue to grow at an astounding rate.
At
grace, we make children, youth, and families a priority providing
essential seeds of faith, therefore, equipping future generations with
roots to help them stand firm in times of trial.
Opportunities for Small Children
 Nursery
I
Open on Sundays from 9:15 a.m.– 12:00 p.m. for use by parents attending
worship and Sunday School services. Also open during weekday Bible Study
classes, choir, and meetings upon request.
The primary focus is for children birth - pre-K. Our hands on Bible
curriculum encourages children to learn through touch, movement, sound,
and exploration.
Our wonderful staff is certified in infant/child first aid/CPR & use of
our child AED. Pagers are provided for peace of mind; and, all staff
have completed extensive background checks.
 Nursery
II
Our second worship service is full of children and to ensure a wonderful
learning environment, our Nursery II is open Sundays from 10:40 a.m. -
12:00 p.m. for use by parents attending service or Sunday School. The
primary focus is for children ages 3 - pre-K. Our hands on Bible
curriculum allows children to act out their lessons through puppets and
pretend play. We also provide music, games, life size story books,
crafts, and hands on learning materials.
Our wonderful staff has completed an extensive background check and is
certified in infant/child first aid/CPR & the use of our child AED.
 Sunday
School Opportunities for Children
9:30am Adult Sunday School is located in the Annex.
Children's Sunday School begins after the children's
moment during worship. Sunday School is located in the Pre-K room and is
for children ages 4-11. Nursery I is available for those 0-3, or any
child who becomes restless during the service. Both SS and the Nursery
teach a wonderful interactive curriculum including games, crafts, and
Bible story time.
10:45 Adult & Youth Sunday School is located in the
Annex.
Children's Sunday School begins after the children's
moment during worship. Sunday School for ages 0-2 is located in Nursery
I, ages 3 - Pre-K are located in Nursery II, grades K-2 are located in
the Pre-K room, grades 3-5 are located in the Choir room, and grades
6-12 are located in the Annex. All age levels (except youth) teach
wonderful interactive curriculum including games, crafts, and Bible
story time.
 Family
Nights, Missions, and Special Events
Once a month, we hold a
special Family Night event at Grace. Each month has it's own theme. Some
months are mission oriented, others are just plain fun! Check out our
