Our Purpose

Grace United Methodist Preschool is a Christian ministry to our members and to our community. Our goal is to offer a program which will enable your child to grow at his or her own pace physically, mentally, and spiritually. Christian values are interwoven into the total school program to help children become aware of God’s greatness and love. We seek to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum in a loving manner using art, music, stories, movement, and recreation. All staff members are fully certified or seeking certification under the guidelines established by the United Methodist Association of Preschools (UMAP) and the Department of Children and Families.  

Our Teachers

All staff members are required to have 10 credit hours in early childhood growth and development each year. In addition, teachers have CDA accreditation, AA, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of experience in early childhood education.

All staff members are fingerprinted. Backgrounds checks are done by local, state, and federal agencies.

Our Classes

2 year old classes are offered on MW and TTH

3 year old classes are offered on MWF and TTH

4 year old classes are offered on MWF and TTHF

State VPK classes are offered on MWF and TTHF

All classes are from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
