 Mission Collection

The Mission focus for 1 March thru 20 March is in support of The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).

If you have looked closely during the worst catastrophes in recent times, you would see UMCOR responding with immediate help to those in need.

Among many areas of assistance provided is disaster response and recovery, education, global health, hunger, poverty, and other needs.

Again, this year we will be collecting for individual hygiene kits to offer immediate assistance to those in the midst of disasters.  Each kit will include:

               - One bath hand towel     (NO KITCHEN OR                        MICROFIBER TOWELS)

-One bath washcloth       (NO KITCHEN OR MICROFIBER TOWELS)

-One comb                           (MUST HAVE 6 INCHES OF TEETH)

                -One toenail or fingernail clippers

-One bar of bath soap     (NO IVORY OR JERGEN’S SOAP.  DO NOT REMOVE WRAPPER)

-One adult toothbrush    (DO NOT REMOVE FROM PACKAGING)

-Ten band aids                    (3/4” BY 3” ONLY)

NOTES:  ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW AND UNUSED.  A DONATION OF $2.00 PER BAG IS APPRECIATED AND USED TO PURCHASE TOOTHPASTE WHICH IS ONLY ADDED UPON SHIPMENT TO DISASTER AREA AS IT HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE.

You can drop off all items at the church either during the week between 9am-1pm or on Sundays before service.

Thank you for your help!
