United Methodist Women



United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.


Local Organization Meetings – Four meetings each year for all United Methodist Women members and guests.


UMW Bake Sale – The Rebecca Circle provides home-baked items every other month on the 3rd Sunday for donations. Proceeds are used for Grace United Methodist Women missions.


GRACE United Methodist Women HAS FOUR CIRCLES:


Circle of Hope meets the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am in members' homes. 

 Primary focus:

  • Spiritual growth, social and environmental programs

  • Emergency kits for United Methodist Committee on Relief


Rebecca Circle meets the second Thursday of each month in members homes at 7:00 pm.

Primary focus:

  • SafeHouse of Seminole

  • Women’s Prison Ministries - Note cards, pads of paper, pens, etc… are collected and placed in packets so that the Women may have materials to write to their loved ones


Threads of Kindness meets the second and fourth Thursdays in the Annex at 10:00 am.

Primary focus:

  • Fellowship and to knit, sew and crochet items for cancer patients, babies and others.


Women at the Table  (younger women) meets the last Thursday each month at the church or a local restaurant at 7:00 pm. 

Primary focus:

  • Fellowship

  • Children's issues
